Etc. -- Frank Kitchen is missing
Introduction | Source Documents | Other Sources | Photocopies | Back

A lightly edited transcript of a page 2 item in the Waterford column in the 6 Jun 1918 Simcoe Reformer.

Frank Kitchen of Cherry Valley has been missing since Tuesday,[18] May 1918.

When last seen he was leaving the home of his brother, Jesse, near Vanessa, about 8 p.m.

He evidently came home with the horse and disappeared.

He had on a working suit of overalls and smock and is supposed to have had over $100 in his pockets.

Foul play is hinted at, though a thorough search of the neighborhood by friends has revealed nothing.

His brother Ernest, who lives on the adjoining farm is looking after his stock until he returns, as he was living alone.
