There died at his home just east of the village on Saturday last, after a long and painful illness, a well known resident, in the person of Peter Joyce in his 64th year.

The immediate cause of his death was heart trouble, aggravated by  asthma.

The burial took place in the cemetery here on Monday
7 Apr 1919, Rev. J. J. O'Mahoney officiating.

The deceased  was never married and leaves to mourn his demise just one brother, Morris, to whom the sincere sympathy of a large circle of friends is extended.
