Mrs. J. B. Jackson

The funeral of Mary Cruden Bruce, widow of John Bartholomew Jackson, whose death occurred on Monday at her home, 
267 Union Street, Simcoe, following a lengthy illness, in her 79th year, was held from the George W. Baldock Funeral Home to St. Paul's Presbyterian church for service on Thursday at 2.30 o'clock.

Rev. John S. Wright, minister of the church, was in charge of the service.

The pall-bearers were: John Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Bart Jackson, 
Wilfred Cardiff, David Tisdale and 
Jay McKiee. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.

[Compiler's Comment: J. B. Jackson a maternal great-grandfather of the webmaster, who identified the pallbearers thusly: 
John Jackson was the second son of Mary's stepson Dr. A. B. Jackson.
Joseph Jackson was the eldest son of Mary's stepson W. G. Jackson. 
Bart Jackson was the eldest son of Mary's stepson H. M. Jackson.
Wilfred Cardiff was the son-in-law of Mary's stepson H. M. Jackson.
David Tisdale was a brother of Mary's son-in-law R. W. Tisdale Jr.
Jay McKiee was a Jackson cousin and Mary's long-time neighbor.
