The death is chronicled of
Mr. Alexander J. Ironside
on Sunday, after an illness extending over two years.
He leaves a widow, and three
sons: Gordon, Leslie
and Henry. Miss Jean Ironside of the H. S. Falls staff,
is a sister.
Coming out from Scotland
about two decades ago,
Mr. Ironside settled here, where his uncle, the late Alexander
Ironside, also lived.
He was a member of St.
Paul's Presbyterian Church.
The funeral was held from
his late residence on
Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 to Oakwood Cemetery,
Rev. Dr. Dey conducting the service.
