Death of Mr. H. A. Hardy 
of Simcoe

The Brantford Expositor regrets to announce the death of Mr. Henry A. Hardy, county attorney and clerk of the peace for the county of Norfolk. The sad event took place Thursday last at his home in Simcoe.

His health had not been good for sometime, and not long since he had a stroke of paralysis, which resulted, after a lingering illness, in his death. 

Mr. Hardy was 62 years old at the time of his death. He was born in Brant county, and before commencing the study of law was in business for a short time in Simcoe.

He was called to the bar in [1850]. 
He resided and practiced law in Brantford until some 10 years ago, when he received the appointment of county attorney of Norfolk  and removed to Simcoe.

He was for many years solicitor of Brantford, and enjoyed an extensive practice in partnership with his nephew, 
the Hon. A. S. Hardy of that city.

Mr. Hardy was was married to a daughter 
of the late Rev. John Ryerson, who survives him as well as four children, one son and three daughters, who will have general sympathy in their sad bereavement.
