Mr.
J. B. Hambidge, an old and esteemed resident
of Aylmer, died recently in New York, aged 74 years.
His body was brought home
for burial on Sunday,
3 May 1914 in the Aylmer cemetery.
Mr. Hambridge was well known
to some of the older residents here, he having been many years ago,
a
resident of Simcoe, with his father, at one time a prominent
citizen.
Mr, Safford Kitchen of
Bloomsburg is a nephew of the deceased, his mother, the widow of the
late Charles Kitchen, Esq., being a sister.
Mrs. Lewis Collver of
Bloomsburg is another sister.
