A lightly edited partial transcription of the Vittoria column on page 3 of the 20 Sep 1917 issue of Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

It is with great sadness that we report the death
of Mrs. John Guiler, which took place Thursday,
13 Sep 1917.

Deceased was ill only a short time, and all that
could be done was done for her, but to no avail.

She leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband,
three sons, Leslie, Cecil and Kenneth,
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Dyer;
two sisters, Mrs. Vanduzen and Mrs. McIntosh
of British Columbia,
and three brothers, Will and Fred of Toronto,
and John Dyer, near Walsh, to whom we extend
our sincerest sympathy.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon to the Presbyterian Church and was conducted by
Rev. Mr. Robertson.
