Simcoe Reformer
newspaper.

Mrs. Thomas Gordon died at her home in this village on Thursday of last week at the age of 71 years.

She had been in rather poor health for some time, but her death was not expected so suddenly.

Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bantam and upon her marriage to the late Thomas Gordon settled in this village where, with the exception of a brief period, the years of her happy married life were spent.

She is survived by two sons and three daughters: W. C. Gordon, mining engineer, of Iron Mountain, Mich.; George Gordon
of Detroit; Mrs. Annie Gordon at home;
Mrs. Jas. Woodward of [Macree], Sask.;
and Mrs. A. D. Williams of Toledo, Ohio.

The funeral was held from the home on Sunday, when a large number of people gathered to show their respect for the deceased and their sympathy for the bereaved family.

The Rev. J. A. Bloodworth assisted in the services, which were conducted by the
Rev. J. M. Smith, pastor of the Baptist Church, of which Mrs. Gordon was an
old and consistent member.

Interment took place in Bayview Cemetery.
