PORT ROWAN

Charles Glover was here last week visiting his sister, Mrs. W. P. Ferris. Mr. Glover is a son of the late John Glover, and is a native of Port Rowan.

When a young man, he, in company with many others of their period, left here and went to Michigan, where he has principally resided since.

His only remaining child and son, 19 years old, is with the Canadian army in France.

This is Mr. Glover's first visit to his old home village for 27 years and after spending a most enjoyable week among relatives and friends of earlier days, he left on Wednesday to visit his brother, Wallace and his family in St. Catharines before returning to his home in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
