The former Harriett McCarty, Mrs. Fields, 72, is a daughter of the late John McCarty and Jane Corbett of Woodhouse. They were married at Port Dover by Rev. Mr. Herbert of St. Paul's Anglican Church.

Mr. Fields has farmed all his life and has seen many changes.

The couple have one daughter, Mrs. Arnold Richardson (Verna), and one son, Gordon; also three grandchildren: Helen, Martha and Macklem Richardson, all of Woodhouse.
