Death of Mr. Dutton

After a long illness, Mr. George W. Dutton died at his home on Tuesday morning.

About the middle of the month of March he underwent a serious operation for appendicitis and gall-stones at the Hamilton City Hospital, and some weeks ago was brought home here, where it was found necessary to perform a second operation.

Mr. Dutton and his family have been living in Simcoe for the pass six years or so, previous to which they had resided in Aylmer. While there he was employed by the Dominion Canners.

His wife, formerly Miss May Mewton of Woodstock, survives him, with a family of two daughters, Misses Hilda and Ernestine, and one son, Master Lawrason.

A short service will be held at his late residence, Talbot Street South, on Friday morning and the body will be taken to Ingersoll, where the funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. W. K. Newton to the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.

Deceased was in his 54th year,
