DELHI, May 2 -- John Dafoe, 60, was accidentally killed at the Delhi canning factory this afternoon.

He and another man were taking a truck load of cans from the ground floor to the upper floor on the elevator, when he was caught between the elevator and second floor and broke his neck.

The adjourned inquest into the death of John Dafoe, which took place on the 2nd inst., was held at Delhi, 
on Wednesday, 8 May 1918.

T. J. Agar was present and took the evidence. 
Dr. R. W. Tisdale of Delhi was the coroner.

The verdict reached was that the unfortunate man 
met his death by accident.

He was employed by the Dominion Canners at Delhi, 
and when the accident occurred was engaged, with another man, in taking a load of cans to an upper storey. 

He was 60 years of age.
