Death of John Crosbie

The funeral of Mr. John Crosbie, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Almont of Silverdale, on Friday, 1 Nov 1918, in his 78th year, was held from the home of his son, Charles Crosbie, 98 Water Street, Simcoe, on Sunday at 2 p.m. to Oakwood Cemetery.

He was predeceased over nine years ago by his wife, who also died at Silverdale.

The service was conducted by his pastor, Rev. Dr. Dey, assisted by Rev. Scott Fulton. The bearers were: 
Jas. Peachey, Jas. Storey, Fred Woolley, Delbert Woolley, Wm. Gilbertson and Colin Campbell.

The other sorrowing sons are George of Marburg, 
Samuel A. of Michigan, Thomas of San Francisco, and one brother, Andrew Crosbie of Guelph.
