The death occurred of an old Townsend boy, in the person of James B. Clark, who for a number of years
lived in Detroit, where he died very suddenly from
heart trouble.

Mr. Clark married Jennie Yeatman of this town 44
years ago the 10th of October, and died on his wedding anniversary. A brother, Henry, lives in Simcoe, and another, Elias, in Woodstock. Mr. Herschel Glover of Waterford is a cousin.

He was in his 71st year and had been employed for many years with the Burroughs Adding Machine Company of Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. Clark enjoyed this summer an extended motor trip to St. Thomas, Simcoe, Waterford and other points, and while in town were guests with
Mr. and Mrs. James Fleming.

The funeral was held on Thursday afternoon, a short service being held in the chapel at Greenwood Cemetery, conducted by Rev. H. E. Bridge, Mrs. James Fleming singing as a solo, "No Night There."
