A lightly edited partial transcript of the Local Interest column on page 12 of the 23 May 1918 Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

There recently died in Delhi at the home of her son, Mrs. Lavina Chambers, at the ripe old age of 86 years.

Deceased, who was one of the oldest women in Delhi, had been in good health considering her advanced age, till a few days before her death, when she was stricken with paralysis, which caused her sudden demise.

She was born in York County, near Toronto, and was the widow of Isaac Chambers, who predeceased her about 23 years ago at Wilsonville, in which place she spent the greater part of her life until moving to Delhi with her son, about five years ago.

She leaves one son, P. Chambers.
