Mrs. Selena Slaght

Mrs. Selena Slaght, a former resident of Waterford, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Roxie Noonan, 4700 Race Ave., Chicago, on 23 Dec.

Mrs. Slaght was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cammell, and was born at Boston, Ont., 21 Apr 1857. She married Charles F. Slaght, who predeceased her nearly 25 years ago.

For some time they lived in Hamilton, but recently Mrs. Slaght has resided with her daughter in Chicago, besides whom there survive three sons, Stanley of Hamilton, and Lloyd and Judson of Syracuse, N.Y.

The funeral was held on Monday afternoon 28 Dec, from the home of her sister, Mrs. Ed. Spencer. Rev. H. Hilkins of the United Church, conducting the service. Interment took place in Greenwood Cemetery, the bearers being 
J. Slaght, L. Slaght, C. Wintour, L. Sutton, F. Sutton and J. Vezina.
