A lightly edited transcription of a page 7 article in the 22 Jul 1920 Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

The following were guests over the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Butler, Colborne Street south:
-- Robt. Catherwood, principal of Port Colborne public school, and Thos. Catherwood of Dundurn (brothers of Mrs. Butler)
-- Mrs. Robert Innes of Port Dover (sister of Mrs. Butler)
-- Mrs. J. Laing and Mrs. H. Laing of Hamilton (cousins of Mrs. Butler)
-- Mrs. Thomas Catherwood of Dundurn, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Innes of Buffalo.

They were all present at the funeral of the late Robt. Innes, who died suddenly in Port Dover on Thursday afternoon, and was buried on Saturday. They came to Simcoe to visit Mrs. J. H. Butler, who has been in failing health for some time, and unable to leave her room.
