A resident of Charlotteville for 40 years, Angus C. Burch, passed away at his home on Saturday following a lengthy illness. He was in his 84th year.

Born in Renton, he was a son of the late William Burch and Mary Jane Anderson. He farmed all his life and was well-known and highly esteemed. He and his wife, formerly Eunice House, marked their 60th wedding anniversary on 7 Dec 1940.

Besides his wife, Mr. Burch is survived by 
one daughter, Mrs. L. Hazen of Hamilton, 
a brother, A. E. Burch of Levitsburg, Ohio, and 
a sister, Mrs. George Hammond of Woodhouse.

The funeral is being held this afternoon from the 
Walsh Funeral Home at two o'clock. Rev. A. L. Thompson of Old Windham United Church has charge of the service.and interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
