Death of Aggie Ball

Miss Aggie Ball, 40, whose illness covered a period of nearly 17 years, passed away at the residence of her sister, Mrs. J. McCauley on Sunday morning, 17 Feb 1918.

Although her recovery was not looked for, the finale to her long and brave fight came suddenly and most unexpectedly.

All through her sickness she was cheerful and hopeful, and bore her illness with a remarkable degree of patience and Christian fortitude. Her death came as a shock to her many friends.

She was the youngest child of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Ball of LaSalette, and spent all her life in the vicinity of her birth.

She leaves to mourn her loss three sisters,
Mrs. B. Dertinger and Mrs. L. Beal of Bookton, and
Mrs. J. McCauley of LaSalette, with whom she resided, and three brothers, Joseph on the homestead,
John in Chicago, and Leo in Duluth, Minn.

The remains were borne to their last resting place in the LaSalette Cemetery by her nephews, on 19 Feb 1918.
The Rev. P. J. Brennan ofoficiated at the service.
