Mrs. J. Ammerman

Mrs. Elsie Jane Collins, wife of the late John Ammerman, died at her home on Mechanic Street in Waterford, on Friday, 1 Jan 1932, in her 79th year, after a long illness.

Mrs. Ammerman was born at Round Plains, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Collins. For the last 45 years she has lived in the home in which she died.

She leaves to mourn a sister, Miss Lavina Collins, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on Monday, 4 Jan 1932 from her late residence, and was conducted by Rev. J. L. Guinn, assisted by Rev. H. Wilkins of the United Church, of which she was a member. Mrs. E. Price and the Misses Dean and Smale sang.

The pallbearers were all neighbors: Chas. Grover, John Walters, 
Ford Wilson, Frank Sharp, Nelson Beam and John Maddiford Sr. Interment took place in the Sovereign Cemetery at Round Plains.
