A lightly edited partial transcription of the Port Dover column on page 2 article in the 14 Nov 1918 issue of the  Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

At Rest

The funeral of Ina Beecraft, wife of Charles Nunn, who died in Hamilton Hospital, Wednesday 6 Nov 1918, took place from the residence of her brother-in-law, 
Geo. W. Nunn, this village, Friday of last week.

The funeral of Charles Long, for 10 years a clerk in the Fair, took place from his residence, St. Patrick Street, on Saturday last.

The funeral of George B. Murphy of Port Rowan, a former resident of Port Dover, took place here Saturday of last week. The members of the I.O.O.F. acted as pallbearers and rendered the impressive funeral service of the order at the cemetery.

The funeral of Pte. Cecil Powell, a returned soldier, took place from the home of his parents on Sunday last.

All four deaths were caused by the prevailing influenza.
