Patrick Murray

The death of Patrick Murray took place at his home, 125 Talbot St., this morning very unexpectedly, although Mr. Murray has been in poor health for the past six years.

Deceased was born near Lynnville, April 15, 1883, son of the late John Murray and Ann Duffy, pioneer residents of Windham Township.

Mr. Murray was very well known in Norfolk County, having farmed near Lynnville until sixteen years ago.

He was twice married, his first wife, Mary Beal predeceased him seventeen years ago and three years later he married Mrs. Emily Thorndyke who with one sister, Mrs. Ramsey of Detroit are left to mourn.

For the past sixteen years, deceased had been a resident of Simcoe and employed with A. E. Aiken and Sons as salesman. In recent years illness had caused him to be less active and at times was confined to his bed.

The funeral will be conducted from his late residence 125 Talbot street south on Saturday 29th inst., to St. Mary's R.C. Church, Simcoe, where Requien [sic] High Mass will be conducted at nine o'clock a.m. Interment will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
