Obituary. -- Died in Woodhouse, on Thursday, November 10th, Mr. John McWade, aged 72 years.

The deceased came to Port Dover in 1848, and has continually resided either in Port Dover or in Woodhouse ever since.

He was born in Virginia County Cavan, Ireland, and was always a staunch member of the Episcopalian Church, his father having been Clerk of the Parish Church in Virginia for many years.

He was well and favorably known in the locality where he resided, everyone having a kind word for him.

He was a good husband and a kind father. In addition to his widow, two sons and three daughters, he leaves eight grandchildren, two being the children of his lately deceased son, George R. McWade, and six being children of Mrs. Robert Blakie, his daughter, to mourn his sudden taking away.

His remains were attended to St. John's Cemetery by a large number friends on the 12th instant, the services being conducted by Rev. J. R. Newell and Rev. W. Davis, Rector of St. John's.
