Death of Mrs. A. McKerlie

Hamilton Spectator : Mrs. Elizabeth McKerlie, widow of Alexander McKerlie, passed away Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Smith, corner of Pearl and Florence streets, with whom she had made her home for some time past.

Mrs. McKerlie had resided in Hamilton for 34 years, previous to which she lived in Norfolk county, where she was born. She was an active member of James Street Baptist church, and was highly esteemed by all who knew her.

She is survived by one son, Frank, of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. Wm. Smith, also of Hamilton, and Mrs. E. S. Wortham, of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Fairchild, of Brantford, and two brothers, James McMichael, and Jonathan McMichael, of Kalamazoo, Mich.

The funeral took place from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Smith, at 3 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon.
