Word
has been received by her friends here of the death at Leeds, Iowa on Friday,
2nd March, of Hannah Coe, beloved wife of Edward H. Marr.
The
deceased was born at Dundas, Ont., on Jan. 27th, 1823, she was married in
1849 to Mr. Marr, and at once moved with him to Iowa.
Her husband is
the son of the late David Marr, of the Woodhouse Gore, and brother of
Joseph A. and D. D. Marr, both now residents of this vicinity.
Mrs.
Marr was the daughter of the late Wm. T. Coe. At the age of nineteen
years she united with the Christian Church, and from that time to the day
of her death was a constant member.
There survive her, besides her
husband, three sons and two daughters.
