Death of George W. Lea
 
Prominent Grocer Passed Away
Yesterday After Short Illness

One more of Simcoe's prominent business men passed out on Wednesday morning when the death of George Walter Lea occurred at his residence on Norfolk street.
 
Mr. Lea was not seriously ill until a few days ago, although he had been laid up for about ten days, having taken ill in a local restaurant while taking a lunch after working late. His illness was at that time thought to be acute indigestion.
 
Deceased was in his 67th year, and leaves, beside his wife, four sons and five daughters. The sons are: 
Harry F., Fred D., Harvey and George H.
 
The daughters are Mrs. Frank Stevenson, Mrs. Harry Brook, Mrs. Guy R. Marston, and Misses Vina and Jessie Lea, all of Simcoe.
 
Messrs. Arthur C. Lea, Fred F. Lea, James H. Lea and Edward Lea are brothers, and Mrs. Geo. J. Ryerse, Simcoe, Mrs. M. E. Widner, Toronto, and Mrs. J. H. Rush of Tillsonburg are sisters.
 
The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family residence on Norfolk street to Oakwood Cemetery.
