Well-known residents of Waterford, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Kaufman are quietly celebrating the 52nd anniversary of their marriage today, December 12.

Mrs. and Mrs. Kaufmann, who are enjoying fairly good health, returned to Waterford last September after residing at Oil Strings for several years.

They were married at Bealton on December 12, 1894, and have made their home at Villa Nova, Hagersville, Waterford,

Before their marriage Mrs. Kaufmann was Alice E. Taylor, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis A. Taylor.

Mr. Kaufmann is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kaufmann of Windham Township.

To this union were born eight children, five of who are still living. They are: Leon Kaufmann of Oil Srings,
Mrs. Lloyd Burkholder and Miss Lena Kaufmann of Waterford, Evan L. Kaufmann of Burford who served for several years with the R.C.A.F., and Charles Kaufmann of Toronto.
