Mrs. Alicia Jackson

Mrs. Alicia Jackson, widow of the late Edmund Jackson, passed away in Essex, Ontario, on Sunday, June 26th in her 90th year.

The remains were brought to Simcoe via the 2.40 Wabash train on Tuesday, the 28th inst., thence to St. John's Anglican Church, Woodhouse, where service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Smith, Port Rowan, assisted by Rev. James Ward, rector of St. John's Church.

The train was met by a large number of relatives and friends, who were joined by a huge gathering awaiting at the church, from all parts of the county, especially from St. Williams, Port Rowan and Woodhouse.

Much regret is felt at the passing for one of Norfolk's noblest citizens.

The bearers were six nephews: George J. McKiee Sr., E. H. Jackson,
Wm. Powell, Dr. A. C. Burt, Wm. Jackson and Harold Jackson.

Interment took place in the family plot in St. John's Cemetery.
