The death took place yesterday of a very old gentleman in the person of Mr. Andrew Irwin.

Deceased was born in the North of Ireland about 90 years ago, and came to Canada when a young boy.

He came to Simcoe from Blenheim and had lived here some 21 years. For more than half of that time, he lived with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. Charles F. Crosbie, at whose home he died.

Mrs. Crosbie was his only child, but there are also living, three step-children, Thomas Musson of Walsh, James Musson of Windsor and Mrs. Robert Shepard of Waterford.
