The Late Mrs. Oscar Hendry

Mrs. Charlotte Amarilla Hendry, wife of Mr. Oscar Hendry, died at her home in Delhi on Sunday afternoon, after an illness of some duration.

Mr. Hendry was a dry goods merchant in Simcoe for many years, and the family lived here, their four children all being born in Simcoe.

Deceased was born in Windham, 68 years ago, a daughter of the late Francis Welch , a grandson of the pioneer, Thomas Welch, the first Registrar of Deeds of the Western District of Upper Canada.

Her husband and four children mourn her loss. The children are a daughter, Mrs. Harry C. Marlatt, of Simcoe; and three sons, Oscar of Toronto, Andrew of Winnipeg, and Dr. Frank of Delhi.

The funeral from Delhi to Simcoe by motor hearse, took place yesterday afternoon, burial in the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery.
