Death of Former Simcoian

Word was received here yesterday morning of the unexpected and sudden death of Mrs. David S. Gibson, of Brantford.

Deceased had been visiting in Toronto and was stricken with pneumonia. She was reported to be on the mend, and no alarm was felt for her when a sudden collapse terminated her life.

Mrs. Gibson was born in Simcoe, the eldest daughter of Mr. W. W. Livingstone, now of Tillsonburg. Her husband was a son of Mr. D. Z. Gibson, who at one time carried on a lumber business at what is now Ellaton, in Windham, and both are well and widely known in this community.

Last summer, they with their family, consisting of six daughters spent the warm months in the cottage at Port Ryerse beach, next to that of the late Mr. W. E. Tisdale.

Mr. E. H. Jackson is an uncle of Mrs. Gibson and Mrs. W. P. Innes an aunt.
