Mr. Michael Fuhr

On Thursday, September 5, Michael Fuhr died at his home in Wyecombe. Deceased was born in Germany in 1825, and came to Canada in 1872 and settled at Wyecombe, where he had been a highly respected resident for the past forty years.

In religion, deceased was a member of the Lutheran Church, a consistent worker, and like all other pioneers he was always willing to help others whenever the opportunity came to him.
 
Those who survive  him are four sons and four daughters -- Leonard of Delhi, John of Cleveland, Michael of Courtland, Henry at home, Mrs. Markle of Tillsonburg, Mrs. Ullmman [sic] of Rhineland, Mrs. John Eitel of Rhineland, and Miss Stella Fuhr of Guelph.
[Compiler's Comment: other historical records say Michael Fuhr's daughter Margaret married Mr. Ullman]
