The death occurred
last Wednesday of an old and highly respected citizen of Hartford in the
person of Mrs. Harriett Foster, who passed away at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Percy Walker of Bloomsburg.
The deceased who enjoyed the
respect and love of a large circle of friends in this village, where she
has resided nearly all her life, was a member of the Baptist church and
was always a regular attendant when health permitted.
Three children are left to mourn
her loss: Isaac Foster, Brantford; Mrs. Chas. Churchill, Wilsonville;
and Mrs. Wm. Cross of Nanticoke.
The
funeral took place on Friday from the church to the Hartford cemetery.
