Death of a Former Middleton Resident

There pasted away at her home in Balmoral, Man., on Saturday, Oct. 24th, in her sixty-sixth year, Isabel, widow of the late James Jeffery and eldest daughter of the late James Fletcher of Middleton.

Mrs. Jeffery was born in Middleton and spent her early life there. She went to the west over forty years ago and was there during the stirring times of the Reil rebellion. She visited her old home in Middleton several times and will be remembered by many of the older residents. Her death makes the first break in a family of eight daughters.

Mr. James Fletcher of Brownsville is a brother and another brother, Walter, lives in Scollard, Alta. Mrs. Jeffery also leaves to mourn their loss, five sons and two daughters, also one granddaughter, who resided with her.
