The death
occurred in Tillsonburg on Friday August 19th, of Robert Emerick, aged
85 years, following an illness of over a year.
Deceased
was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Emerick of Tyrrell, where
he lived until a few years ago when he moved to Tillsonburg.
Those
left to mourn their loss are his wife, one step-daughter Mrs. Amos
Mills of Tillsonburg, a brother Peter Emerick of Port Credit.
He
was a cousin of Mrs. Ladona McEown and Mrs. Elvira Snively of
Waterford and an uncle of Mrs. Wm. Church and Messrs. John and Thos.
Thompson.
The funeral
was held from his late home at Tillsonburg on Sunday the 21st inst.,
at 1.30 p.m., and was conducted by Rev. Fred Emmons. Interment was
made in Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.
