George Duncan

A well-known Townsend Township farmer, George Duncan, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening at 
his home, Lot 19, Concession 14, in his 82rd year.

A native of Charlotteville, deceased was a son of the 
late George and Elsie Duncan. He had farmed 
practically all his life in Charlotteville and Townsend.

His wife, formerly Monimia Armstrong of Charlotteville, whom he married 62 years ago, predeceased him several years ago.

Surviving are four sons, Charles of Charlotteville, and George, Earnest and Earl, of Townsend, one daughter, Jennie, Mrs. J. McIntosh of Townsend, and one brother, Alex. Duncan of Simcoe,

The funeral will be held Friday at two o;clock from the MacGregor Funeral Home, Simcoe. Rev. W. H. Fuller 
of Knox Presbyterian Church, Jarvis, will have charge of 
the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
