Death of Mrs. Theadore Sharp

The death occurred on Wednesday morning last, Oct. 3oth, of Martha Millicent Claxton, wife of Theadore Sharp and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Claxton of this place.

Mrs. Sharp had been ill for nearly a year past, being able at intervals to get about, but had been confined a greater part of the time to the house and her bed. For some weeks past she had been in a serious condition and the end, which was looked for at any time, came on Wednesday morning.

Deceased was in the thirty-fourth year of her age and was well known in Waterford, having spent the greater portion of her life in this place.

She leaves behind a husband and one daughter, about seven years of age, to mourn her loss, who have the sympathy of the community at large.

The funeral, which was very largely attended, took place from her late residence, Mechanic Street, on Friday afternoon last. The services were conducted by Rev. F. C. Elliott, pastor of the Baptist church here, of which she was a member.

The bearers were: Messrs. H. R. Smale, R. S. Robinson, F. S. Marlatt, C. R. Smith, W. Trusdale, T. C. Savage.

Many beautiful flowers testified to the esteem in which Mrs. Sharp was held, among them being from --
Mrs. A. Cartwright, Brantford, cross carnations and roses; Mrs. Weekly, Brantford, spray of carnation and roses; Mrs. L. Rowe, Brantford, roses; Mrs. Beecraft, Brantford, spray of carnations and roses,
