Observes his 90th Birthday

A native of Sommersetshire, England, Job Churchill, Stanley Street, Simcoe, is quietly marking his 90th birthday today.

Blessed with good health, Mr. Churchill attributes his longevity to the fact that he has worked all his life and does not smoke or drink. He started to work at the age of 14.

He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Churchill and at the age of 11 years came to this district with his family.

He has resided in Simcoe and Woodhouse since that time with the exception of 14 years spent in Dunnville. Before coming to Simcoe he resided on a farm in Woodhouse, one mile south of town.

There were ten children in his family, he and a sister, Mrs. Bertha McDonald of London, being the sole survivors.

Mr. Churchill has been twice married, his first wife being the former Eliza [sic] Steinhoff, who passed away many years ago. His second wife was formerly Lillion Weston.

Mr. Churchill had one son and two daughters, all of whom have passed away. He has a number of grandchildren.
