Mrs. George H. Malcolm

The funeral of Charity Carletta Carrow, wife of the late George H. Malcolm, Toronto, was held on Tuesday, September 10th, from the Miles Funeral Home, St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto.

Mrs. Malcolm died in Chicago, where she moved 15 years ago following the death of her husband, at the week-end.

The funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Stanley Russell, of Deer Park United Church, and burial was made in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto.

Pallbearers in Toronto were William and Harold Phelps of Mt. Pleasant, Brant County, Wilfred Carrow of Brantford, Bruce Carrow of Toronto, Scott Malcolm of Toronto, and Malcolm Sherlock of Chicago.

Attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. George Carrow of Woodhouse, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Carrow of Brantford, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Carrow of Norwich.

Mrs. Malcolm was the daughter of the late John Carrow and Charity Wilson Carrow of Atherton, where she was born 82 years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Sherlock (nee Florence Malcolm) of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Chandler of Chicago, and a brother, George Carrow of Woodhouse Township.

Mrs. Malcolm gained her education at Banner School, near her home, and in Simcoe High School. For a time she was a teacher in Norfolk Schools.
