There died in Toronto
at Wellesley Hospital on Friday, April 16, Edith Adelaide, the second
daughter of Marcus T. and Della V. Lester.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester were both
well known in Simcoe some fifteen years ago.
The daughter, the deceased lady,
was the wife of Mr. Richard Orchard, jr., formerly of Brantford, whose
mother was Miss Bess Carpenter, third daughter of the late J. B.
Carpenter, of the Model Farm, Simcoe.
The funeral was private and held
from her father's residence, 71 Heath street west, on Saturday, April
17, at 4 p.m., to Mount Pleasant cemetery.
