The death of Sanford Buckberrough of Waterford, occurred Saturday evening in Norfolk General Hospital, in his 78th year. He suffered a heart attack last December, but had been in hospital only since Thursday.

Born at Teeterville, deceased was the last of 10 children of the late George Buckberrough and Martha Bates. At the age of 17 he started to learn cheese making, an occupation he continued to follow for 35 years. He had spent the greater part of his life at Bookton, Wyecombe and Waterford, was a member of Waterford United Church, and for many years a member of Frederick Masonic Lodge, Delhi. He is survived by his wife, the former Alice May McMaster, whom he married 53 years ago.

Mr. Buckberrough is resting at the Addison Funeral Home, Otterville, where service will be conducted on Tuesday at 2.30 o'clock. Rev. E. W. Shaw of Waterford United Church will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch.
