The Late Charles Buck

Mr. Charles Buck of Cultus, Norfolk County, died at his home on Wednesday morning, April 12th, 1916, in the 86th year of his age.

He was born at Niagara of U.E. Loyalist stock, as was also his first wife, Sarah Secord, who died in 1893. He later married Mrs. Joseph Raven, who survives him.

He was a life-long Conservative and a member of the Methodist Church.

The children by the first wife are J. L. Buck, Esq., and Mr. W. N. Buck of Port Rowan, Mrs. G. T. Wood of Woodstock, Mrs. R. Rnowles of Toronto, and Mrs. George Riddle of Port Burwell.

He has three grandsons in the service of their country, Lieut. C. S. Buck, 133rd, Norfolk, Capt. Harold Buck, medical officers with the Royal Canadian Brigade, in France, and Cecil Wood with the Woodstock regiment. -- Pt. Rowan News
