ROBERT B. BROCK

A shock of sadness came over this community on Sunday last when it became known that Mr. Robert Barnes Brock, beloved husband of Mary Louise O'Mahoney, a lifelong and very highly respected resident of the Township of Townsend, had passed away on Sunday 30 Jul 1933, in his 75th year.

Although not in the best of health for some years past, his rather sudden passing came as a shock to his many friends in this community.

Of a family of ten sons and one daughter in the Brock family only three brother survive, namely George and Pearce of Waterford and Charlie of Caledonia. Besides his bereaved widow he leaves to mourn his loss five sons, Dan and Robert at home, Herbert and Harold of Buffalo, and George of LaSalette.

The funeral took place at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1, thence to St. Mary's Church, Simcoe for service and interment, and was largely attended by many sympathizing friends.
