The Late W. J. Broad

Reformer: -- The death occurred on Friday at Weston Sanitarium of Will J. Broad, who has been in poor health for the past few years.

Mr. Broad was well known in Simcoe, having been in the employ of the H. S. Falls Co. for a number of years, later removing to Saskatchewan. His health was not permanently benefited by the change, however, and he came back east.

The funeral took place from his uncle's residence in Brantford on Sunday afternoon and was largely attended. The services at the house and grave were conducted by Rev. C. T. Scott and were of a most impressive character.

Those left to mourn their loss are his wife, formerly Miss Nellie Taylor, of Oakland, and one young daughter, with his mother, three sisters and a brother, the latter, Stanley Broad, also at one time a resident of [Simcoe]. The remains were laid to rest in the Oakland cemetery.
