The Late Mrs. Bauslaugh

The dread paralytic stroke was the cause of another sudden death in Simcoe on Thursday, January 28th, when Mrs. James Bauslaugh of Brock street died after an illness of but a few days.

Mrs. Bauslaugh was taken ill on Sunday, January 24th, and gradually sank into a comatose condition from which she never rallied, passing peacefully away at about seven o'clock Thursday morning.

The funeral was held on Saturday at one o'clock, services being conducted at the family residence, Brock street, by Rev. Dr. Benson, after which the body was conveyed to Waterford for interment, Rev. Mr. Truax taking the services at the grave.

The late Mrs. Bauslaugh's maiden name was Mary Elizabeth Boughner, daughter of George Boughner of Townsend. She was born on April 7th, 1848, and leaves to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother, her husband, three daughters and one son.

The daughters are Mrs. Jas.. Kellum, Windham; Mrs. J. L. Cowen, Goshen; and Mrs. Deslands, Toronto. G. W. Bauslaught [sic] of Waterford, is the son.

The deceased was a member of St. James, Methodist Church, the Woman's Institute, and the Home Circle and will be missed from these organizations.
