The remains of Chas. Baughman, who died in Hamilton on Sunday, arrived here by train on Monday and were
taken to the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. A. W. Baughman.

The deceased was born in Jarvis and came to Port Rowan when a lad with his parents. He passed through our high school and had a good education which he applied to good purpose until about two years ago when his health began to fail.

He was in Hamilton undergoing treatment by specialists at the time of his death, which overtook him at the age of 39 years.

Besides his sorrowing parents he leaves to mourn his loss two brothers, William of Chatham and Herbert of Toronto and one sister, Eva, Mrs. R. Thompson of Moosejaw, Sask.

The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Quigley and was held at the home on Tuesday where a large number of people gathered to show their sympathy for the bereaved family. Interment took place in Bay View cemetery.
