Vanessa

The death occurred on Wednesday of Mrs. Bartholomew, relict of Wm. Bartholomew, at the residence of her son, at the advanced age of 80 years. She had been in failing health for some time past.

Deceased was a consistent member of the Methodist Church here for many years and will be greatly missed in the community.

The funeral was conducted by her pastor on Friday afternoon and was largely attended, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Vanessa Cemetery beside her husband.

Deceased leaves to mourn her demise an only son and his family, and two brothers, Oscar Church of Brantford, and William Church of the Northwest, as well as a number of other relatives, who will have the sympathy of a host of friends in their sad bereavement.
