MRS. CHARLES O. BANNISTER

Martha Ann Butler, widow of the late Charles Oscar Bannister, passed away at her home north of Wilsonville on Sunday, March 11th, after a short illness, in her 67th year. She was born at Courtland and about thirty-six years ago married Charles Oscar Bannister, who predeceased her eighteen years ago.

Those left to mourn are two sons, Claude of Oakland, Harold of Conrad, Montana, and one daughter, Mrs. Evan Cross of Brantford; also four brothers, David Butler of Winnipeg, Charlie and Will Butler of St. Thomas, and Wesley Butler of Courtland; two sisters Mrs. Albert Gorton of Port Arthur and Mrs. Joseph Roberts of Oakland.

The funeral service will be held at the residence of her son, Claude Bannister, Oakland, on Thursday, March 15th, at 2.30 p.m., and will be conducted by Rev. H. Wilson, pastor of the Wilsonville United Church, of which Mrs. Bannister was a faithful member. Interment will be made in the Oakland cemetery. The pallbearers will be Messrs. Geo. Hilborn, Henry Westbrook, Wallace Westbrook, Alam Barnes, Wesley Kelly and Arthur Alton.
