Celebrated Her Birthday

On April 11th, 1909, a number of the relatives of Mrs. William Murray, formerly of Round Plains, Ont., called at the residence of her son, Wesley Murray, No. 1131 St. Clair St., Port Huron, Mich., to congratulate her on her eighty-second birthday.

Many letters and token of remembrance were received from relatives and friends in Ontario and other places.

Mrs. Murray is the daughter of John Pegg and Elizabeth Austin, U.E. Loyalists, who moved from Pennsylvania into Norfolk County in 1792, and is the sole survivor of her father's family of four brothers and four sisters, having passed over the river.

She is active and retains her faculties to an eminent degree. She can read and sew without the aid of glasses. We hope she may live to enjoy many more returns of her natal day.

Among those who called to extend congratulations were Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Murray, Mrs. George Roberts and children, Clyde and Greta, Mrs. and Mrs. W. W. Pegg, Misses Julia and Beatrice Pegg and others.

Mr. C. G. Murray of this village is a son of Mrs. Murray.
