The Late Mrs. Franklin

Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson Franklin died at the home of her son, W. O. Franklin, Friday morning. The end came in her sleep after a long happy day enjoyed with her family. She was a daughter of the late Joseph Anderson of Charlotteville, and was born at the old homestead in that township on March 8, 1830.

Nine years ago she moved to Port Rowan and resided with her sister, Mrs. Hugh Mabee, and afterwards with her son.

Her brothers and sisters were Wm. Anderson of Michigan, Mary Ann, wife of John Fick; Nancy, wife of Hugh Mabee; Walter Anderson, of Charlotteville; Rebecca Ann, twin sister who died at the age of 17, Amoret K[a]rn, wife of Oliver McCall, and Sarah Jane, wife of Dr. Finch. Of these only Mrs. Finch survives.
